There are many different options you can choose from when creating your customized wood door. These options include anything from designs, to decorative hardware, to the different door types. Custom created wooden doors can be made of anywhere from cedar to bocote wood- which means a wooden door can range from $1,000 to $75,000 based on your needs. You can put hardware anywhere you want it, and can stain the wood any color that you would like. Some options include the ability to apply wood on the face of a steel garage door in order to maintain the strength of steel while displaying incredible appearances. If well maintained, wooden garage doors can be the most beautiful of them all!

Arches, Eyebrows, and Decorative Hardware

When customizing your new cedar garage door you can do as simple as you would like or you can go into great detail as well, depending on your style.

In the picture above you can tell the options that this person chose, this particular door has what we call an eyebrow design. Custom hand crafted garage doors also offer arches that give your garage door an elegant look. Then once you decide on the style rather it be a true arch or an eyebrow, you can go into more detail with your hardware and staining. It is recommended that you stain the garage door every 3 to 4 years, also it is best to put a protective seal on the door as well. Even the hardware can make all the difference in the door as well. A wide variety of hardware along with clavos are available. Die cast clavos are decorative iron pieces that a perfect finishing touch to any hardware.
